Lord Kabir Himself appears on earth, that is why, Prakat Diwas has celebrated for him and not Jayanti. Lord Kabir's body is not made up of five elements and doesn't have any bones or flesh. His body is composed of a "Single element of divine light". No other God except Almighty Lord Kabir, is free from the cycle of birth and death. Kabir Prakat Diwas is celebrated only for the Indestructible God, whose name is God Kabir, because he doesn't take birth.

Lord Kabir, in order to wake up the souls, who are in deep slumber of spiritual ignorance, tells that, human life is extremely precious. Lord Kabir was the very first Saint, who made all the souls know about "Satlok" which is the"ever happy abode", devoid of any pain and sorrow. Lord Kabir, while describing the glory of Satlok, has told that there is a place where the body is not made of five elements but is composed of a "single element of devine light". God Kabir has unveiled many of the intense secrets by telling that, He was the one who increased the length of Draupadi's saree and He, himself killed Hiranyakashipu and kans, to maintain the glory of worship and to keep faith.

परमात्मा कबीर साहेब को 52 कसनी दी गयी अर्थात उन्हें 52 बार मरवाने की कोशिश की गयी पर परमात्मा को कोई हानि नहीं पहुंची क्योंकि परमेश्वर कबीर साहेब अजर अमर अविनाशी हैं। कबीर परमात्मा को ख़त्म करने के लिए हिन्दू और मुस्लिम धर्मगुरुओं ने बहुत से प्रयास किये। ऐसे ही एक बार सिकंदर लोधी ने कबीर साहेब को हाथी से कुचलवाने की सजा दी। कबीर परमात्मा जी के हाथ पाँव बांध कर उन्हें एक मदोन्मत खूनी हाथी के आगे डाल दिया गया। कबीर परमात्मा को मारने के लिए आगे बढ़ा तो उसे परमात्मा के स्थान पर एक बब्बर शेर दिखाई दिया। सिकंदर लोधी को भी परमात्मा का विराट रूप दिखाई दिया। हाथी अपनी जान बचा कर भाग गया तथा राजा भी थर्र थर्र काँपता हुआ नीचे आया और कबीर परमेश्वर को दंडवत प्रणाम किया।

At that time, the ignorant Hindu Brahmins had spread a rumor that those who die in Maghar (a place in Uttar Pradesh) go to hell, and those who die in Kashi go straight to heaven. God Kabir Ji lied on the sheet and covered Himself up with another. After a while, God Kabir Ji said through an Ethervoice, “Look Brahmins, Pundits! I’m departing with My Body from Maghar. Check your books to figure out where I am going — if I’m going in hell or even above heaven?” The Brahmins checked their books and said, “Really. All the Sanskaar changed. When the sheets were lifted, they found fragrant flowers in place and in Form of God Kabir’s Body. On seeing this, both Hindus and Muslims cried hugging each other as children cry on the death of their father.
